Adapted openly from the exemplary novella ‘The Mysterious Stranger’ by Mark Twain; Day of the Stranger restores the custom of the corrosive western of the 1970’s. Caine Farrowood is an abundance tracker who works heavily influenced by merciless head honcho Loomweather. One day an abundance recovery turns out badly and Caine is left for dead. Exactly when he thinks his life is over he bafflingly stirs back home to the solaces of his better half Christina. Confounded and befuddled by the way in which he returned home Caine demands tracking down replies, yet after a short time he is enrolled in the recovery of another abundance. This one is colossal and may cost Caine not his life, but rather his mental soundness when he ends up set in opposition to someone who might just be the fallen holy messenger himself.
