3 years on from hospitalité, Kiki Sugino and Koji Fukada are back again with this socially-cognizant film around a 18-year-old young lady in the middle of immaturity and adulthood who spends a late spring in a valley and appreciates sentiment. Sakuko, a 18-year-old young lady reading up for her college placement tests, chooses to go with her auntie Mikie out traveling to a coastline town. There she gets to know Takashi, an outcast from Fukushima who has exited secondary school and works at an inn run by Ukichi, a companion of Mikie. In the middle of youth and adulthood, Sakuko begins to comprehend the hardships of turning into an adult.
