My Father’s War

2016103 mins

In this exceptional and riveting film, a grieved man has a progression of dreams where he ends up tossed back to a period before his introduction to the world, into the Angolan Border War, as a battle trooper. There he meets his dad as a young fellow, when he was an individual from the Special Forces. As they go through battle together, the child becomes acquainted with his dad in a manner he never has, giving him knowledge and empathy, and he can relinquish long lasting sensations of deserting, hatred and outrage. This prompts pardoning and a genuine compromise, which drives home the basic message of this film reestablishing the hearts of the dads to the kids and the hearts of the youngsters to the fathers.
