A day in Hollywood, 1972, with youngsters searching for the 24 hours that will transform them. Zach will open that evening for a British rocker at Whisky a Go-Go; he lives in a gully and plays off the cuff two part harmonies with a puzzling guitarist he doesn’t see. Tammy is an ensemble architect, open to fast sex with the different rockers she works with and adored from far off by Michael, a photographic artist recuperating from an instance of the applaud. His old buddy is Felix, a bleak, alcoholic lyricist. Close by for lighthearted element is Marty Shapiro, a quick talking record maker. Preparing for the gig at the club, Zach’s exhibition, and the early-morning result contain the film.
