Why Do Fools Fall in Love

1998116 mins

In the mid-80s, three ladies (each with a lawyer) show up at the workplace of New York diversion administrator, Morris Levy. One is a L.A. artist, previously of the Platters; one is a frivolous hoodlum from Philly; one shows school in a little Georgia town. Each professes to be the widow of long-dead doo-wop artist lyricist Frankie Lyman, and each needs long stretches of eminences because of his domain, cash Levy has never shared. During a resulting common preliminary, flashbacks recount the account of every one’s existence with Lyman, an innocent, sharp, unique entertainer, lost to heroin. Gradually, the three spouses build up their own bond.
